Dave:

Clifton is still alive and doing well. The American
Silver business is going well, and generating some
cash flow. I am waiting for an update from the company,
and will post what I learn. They are in the process of
finishing a required filing (may have finished by now) by
Nasdaq, apparently a new requirement. Once that is done
the stock will trade again under the cftn symbol (cftne
for now).

The mining of silver and/or gold is on hold at this time.
Higher lead prices are needed for the silver, and while
they have high grades of gold on the Cane Spring mine,
they would like to drill at least 4 holes to determine the
extent of the deposit. This will be done with cash
generated by the American Silver business.

It is trading on the Alberta exchange, and Friday traded
at .20 Canadian. More soon.

Regards

Dan
