You really mean a 50% decline, don't you. 100% decline would be zero. Let's hope your thoughts are wrong.

Luc,

I don't post here on DELL very often. I hold a sizeable position, but, as a core holding and top 10 stocks to own, I don't find the need to worry about it too much.

For as far back as I can remember, you have been tooting this same horn on DELL. Opinions are welcome....positive or negative, and believe me, I have posted many negative comments and/or predictions on many threads. Basically, I speak my mind. Whether I am long or short, I seek all topics of discussion. I have no problem being longon a stock, yet bring up something negative for discussion. I do whatever is in the best interest of my investements.

However, over time, history will determine whether you were right or wrong. I think I can positively say, you have been, and are, wrong about DELL. It is time to move on to something else. It's not that your opinion is not welcome...but c'mon, how many years, have you been singing this same old song, while DELL just keeps growing, and turning into more of a monster then ever. History has spoken, and you are wrong.

I was going to offer a simple wager....but if I recall, you made a wager last year or the year before, and lost a PIZZA, yet refused to honor up and pay the wager. Welshers don't gain a wholelot of respect or credibility in my book, especially when that person is so off the base on one of the best fundamentally sound companies in the world.

LUC, I will venture to say that 5 years from now DELL will still be growing and will still be a monster gorilla. My money is where my mouth is by being long. I suggest you go short 5000 shares for 5 years, and then lets you and I talk again. My guess is if I stay long and you stay short for 5 years we will both be in drastically different places when all is said and done.

I am doing my part....long and loving it ( how could any long term del shareholder not be loving it !! ).

i think DELL could easily provide a 100% decline as well...

Can I ask based on what? Are you forecasting doom for the entire PC sector or is Dell going to be overwhelmed by competition from... who? IBM? Compaq? eMachines???
