To all: AirTran Airways Reports November 1999 Traffic - Traffic Up 15 Percent Versus Same Month Last Year (Thursday, December 2, 1999 01:18) ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 2, 1999--AirTran Airways (Nasdaq:AAIR, news, msgs) today reported a 65.8 percent load factor for the month of November, up 6.8 points from a year ago. Traffic grew by 15.5 percent versus November 1998, on 3.6 percent more capacity. Year-to-date, traffic has grown by 7.0 percent on a 0.1 percent increase in capacity. "We are very pleased with our November performance, both in terms of the continued growth in traffic as we expand capacity, and with the service our employees provide to customers in terms of reliability and on-time performance," said Robert Fornaro, AirTran's president.
