Yes I've seen and read the link, but thanx anyway. It's not my intention to question you on what you saw at InterNet World, nor do I doubt you. My point is just as you suggest...others may have different silicon and since they aren't available in the retail stores we don't know what is in them. A visit to the 3Com DSL page gets you this on their HomeConnect modems:
