Now that's interesting! If true ( and to tell the truth I think you are liar on the evidence I have, but that's just a first impression) you are the first combat veteran (or other soldier) who has any use for the scarlet majors at the Base (who sped glum heroes up the line to death). People like Reagan, Dan Quail, George W., Tail-gunner Joe and other pretenders can't hold a candle to Kennedy, Truman, Grant, Jackson, and Washington who actually got shot at. The chief purpose of back of the trenches people is push brave people to stand in front of them and take bullets. I would love to hear (true) tales about your combat experiences. I've known few combat veterans who can forebear telling sea stories. Your reticence is not laudable in this particular discussion. Its hiding, and it makes other people extremely critical.
