Thanks, Harry. Sorry for the confusion, Marty. I feel better about NIH now (eliminates my "Sertoli" embarrassment).

My comments stand, as they were focused on the size of the award and the necessity to transition to clinicals for the big bucks. I've administered phase I SBIR grants, and they're a pain in the rear. If you apply for phase II funding and don't get it, you've used a ton of resources for a modest amount of funding. If it's something you feel compelled to do in any event, it's nice to have the cash, even if it's a small amount. It's also good to have taken the first step to bigger bucks.

Harry..... microcarriers? The cells won't scale-up without a scaffold, or is there some "in vivo" logic?
