XMSR - read comments from upgrade on CDRD today. Tell you this one will run soon. Same model, better partners, only $12 is the low, solid consolidation all week, play to $15 to $18 here.

NEW YORK (CBS.MW) -- CD Radio shares rose Friday afternoon
after CS First Boston analyst Ty Carmichael started coverage with a "buy" rating.

The stock (CDRD: news, msgs) rose 1 1/2 to 27.

CD Radio is building a digital satellite radio system that will broadcast up to 100 channels of music and other programming to motorists throughout the continental U.S. The company plans to offer 50 channels of commercial-free music and up to 50 channels of news, sports and entertainment programming for about $9.95 a month. The system is expected to launch by the end of 2000.

Carmichael said in a report that the company has a "highly efficient business model capable of generating tremendous cash flow."

He added that "strong long-term prospects outweigh the very real potential for near-term cost overruns and a delayed service introduction."
