Rick,

No need to apologize, I once said nice things about ABTI <g>. Take an extremely well-deserved weekend off.

Happens to everyone,

Best to avoid falling on sword..PI trials of falling on sword were halted because of AE's.

There is an oversupply of klutzy management in biotech and medical devices out there (CLTR comes to mind) Thank God airliners are not flown by people with such bad judgement. Unfortunately they sometimes look OK until challenged like this when they make dumb mistakes. I tend to believe this is a transient problem (FDA letter, not GLIA's handling) and this has been another in a series of buying ops in excessively beat up stocks for me.

Rick,

You had to miss one. Otherwise the SEC was going to start investigating you for having inside information.<g>

I think GLIA has been caught in the recent downdraft with LIPO, CLTR, INCY... Any bad news, especially if management doesn't look forthright, draws an overreaction, and the shorts have an unaccustomed credibility. Good buying opportunity, IMO.

The movements in GENZ and IMCL last week, very similar to each other, are interesting. It may be that the shorts decided to attack bigger biotech game on apparent weakness, and got burned rather swiftly. Well that's too bad, but the good news is that the sector showed some real power, bouncing back with a fury.

No apologies necessary. Especially since I'd like to reserve the right to be an innocent bystander on a company or timing or whatever in the future. Besides, this is all short-term ... the discomfort is only temporary ...
