If one does not label the drives then there is a risk of formatting the wrong drive.

I took this a step further and used Norton's utility to label my logical drives with a mixture of capital and lower case letters. Since many harmful programs were case sensitive, I had to perform the extra step of re-labeling the drive before I could destroy its contents either accidentally or deliberately.

This may not be an issue in a Windows environment.

Cheers, PW.
