Snow Shoe,

No I have not seen the new store layout, but I will stop by today. The last time I was in CPU they were moving some things around, but I did not get the idea that a major change was underway.

Good Luck

Thurston

Snow Shoe,

Stopped by one of the eight Comps in my town today. I am sorry to say that this store has not had any upgrades that I could identify.

I will be in the area of two others stores this week and will stop by to see those.

It could be that the store I stopped in is slated to be closed as the converted Computer City store is only 1 mile away and has a much better location. I have been surprised that both stores with this close a proximity have remained open this long.

Just like I posted last month, I again was shocked to have help from a CPU employee that had computer hardware knowledge greater than my own. My question was addressed and solved by a pretty skilled CPU employee. This is a complete 180 from 6 months ago when the CPU employee told me to go to CNET and get my answer there. His exact words were, "how are we supposed to know which features each of these things has got". Hopefully that guy has now found employment more suited to his skills; like at the post office.

Good Luck

Thurston
