THE 1ST G&K REUNION PARTY

This thread has become much more than a place to discuss G&K candidates and investment strategies. We've become a cyber-community, where we've come to know each other as well as we do our friends and neighbors in the bricks & mortar world. We've discussed the possibility of a reunion in San Diego timed around the Qualcomm shareholders' meeting, which is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, February 29th.

It's time to size the event. As the local host, Sir Dancelot has agreed to act as registrar, and check out the facilities in QTown. I believe he'll post a registration template later this weekend.

I hope you'll give this party possibility consideration. I'm looking forward to meeting my many friends from G&K who have enriched my life both financially and personally. One of my favorite poems is The South Country, by Hilaire Belloc, and I particularly like the part that goes,

If I ever become a rich man,
Or if ever I grow to be old,
I will build a house with deep thatch
To shelter me from the cold,
And there shall the Sussex songs be sung
And the story of Sussex told.

I will hold my house in the high wood
Within a walk of the sea,
And the men that were boys when I was a boy
Shall sit and drink with me.

Let's go to San Diego, make a few toasts, and sing a few songs <g>.
