That is the AMD name, of course, but the point is the same, additionally, as Haim Barad has speculated, the op-codes may be identical, so that the code compiled with the Intel compiler would show this improvement on an Athlon as well.

From the point of view of science, we need only wait until ~10/25, at which point we will have seen non-Intel benchmarking, but from the point of view of investing, it would be nice to be able to know before, yes?
