From that chart it looks like gold is technically strong over $305.

I read somewhere that one company was projecting gold in the $270-390 range over the next year. I think this is possible.

Reasons?

1) The central banks change of opinion on the metal. They are going to need higher asset values to deal with higher oil prices.

2) Hedging and forward-selling are suddenly unpopular - and unprofitable.

These are IMO of course. But AEM will look pretty with gold at $390.
