Strangely enough your second idea is more appealing. I wouldn't even have to shave my head. Knew an Engineer once who's brother in law had retreated to a monastery in Thailand. Have the address somewhere 'cos they wanted me to look him up on one of several trips there, but too many people just disappear in that back country.

Brings back memories of flying up to the construction site in the NW corner and listening to the US heli pilots on the radio, Viet Nam was active at that time. The first item in construction was the golf course for visiting brass. When we played it was with an attendent staff, to make sure you were always on the fairway, to serve tea and biscuits every third or fourth hole, To watch out for cobras, and not least to dive into the water hazards to retrieve errant drives.

Come to think of it memories are to be treasured more than possesions. Must really be getting on to the down side of the cycle. It continues to be the game that's enticing, not just the score.
