If GATA wants too much then they will get nothing.>> I think that GATA has already won. i.e. They/it/he (Bill Murphy) exposed the manipulation of the market and gave the embattled gold shareholders a chance to realise some profits. I'm not sure that there is very much more that could be sought, e.g. how would you settle for damages? I can see legal costs. And out of court settlement, because it is all out in the open now. PS I like your price predictions. At least I hope that they come to pass (becuase of that property we have discussed at length in the past)! Winzer

getting back to fundamentals..do you know how much gold is available at under 200 dollars(Bob Johnson has estimate about 40 million ounces) and how long before that supply would be used up and then what the next level would be? I am talking on a global level

<<Doug, GATA will not win lawsuit...If they go to court they will lose...>>Bill Bill, my understanding of what will happen is that GATA's law firm will become very successful in obtaining damages, which will be shared by that law firm and claimant GATA which is a non profit organization with a purpose that requires money to continue its work. GATA has a short, medium and long term goal, and in my and many others belief that GATA has near accomplished the short term goal. GATA has just been created a little over 1 year ago and its purpose and need will continue and expand naturally into that which gold has always showned in its ability to monitor "well being" in economics. Not only much much more to follow soon, but GATA will expand and grow and live on as long as man & womankind need a way to place a measure of value on an object seperate from it. Sweet justice in that GATA will become a non profit foundation of another name, and will be financed big time soon thru the GATA's law firm's action as they trace the smoking vapors to guns. Also, anywhere in the world will be reachable because GATA will expand into a multi nation status. Even present day Bill Murphy will be amazed and pleasantly surprised in the months and years to follow as GATA will attract the best and the brightest, in a way that Ralph Nater(?) has always done ever since he wrote the book "unsafe at any speed" about the Chevy Corvair car. Ayn Rand would be proud of the GATA folks, and support them. Doug
