K: I agree with you completely. The chart is kind of alarming, however. Stochastics, OBD not encouraging, plus its fallen below its 50 and 200 ma. Hmmm. I would suspect, for the short term anyway, that earnings will provide an opportunity to play it. IE: it might continue to fall to 110 and perhaps beyond, only to rise with earnings. Of course, if the hardware slowdown is significant across the board -- from pcs to network equip, chips and mini and mainframes -- and the company talks about Y2K in dire tones during the cc, we will ALL be in trouble. K: Here is a guy on IBM thread who sees classik head n shoulders in IBM chart. If it breaks 108, he thinks, it could washout to 90. Dunno about 90, but I would say a break of 110 is serious. M2
