Last night at 8 PM, I got 2.55 mbps on my BellSouth ADSL line. And this is not off peak hours Apparently a squeaky wheel gets greased. I have been complaining to them & the LA. atty. general's consumer affairs office about crappy service in the past, and withholding payment. These speeds beat the old record of 1.47 mbps by a mile. I guess you all read about the new ADSL modem package between 3Com and Bell Atlantic that requires no phone company technician to install it. This seems to be a big deal to me.
