Really interesting point !

Something that has occurred to me is -- I suspect that one segment of our economy that may be very interested in becoming G* subscribers is the illicit drug business.

These people probably will be great customers, I guess ...

Jon.

I feel early benchmarks in which to judge G's ultimate success are call quality and user statisfaction. From all indications so far, both appear to meet or exceed expectations. I am especially encouraged to hear it worked inside a building in downtown London! I strongly feel demand is there especially if one does not have to sacrifice call quality and I agree that there will be many times when a user will force sat mode. I know I will when sitting on a Carribean beach drinking a Red Stripe and calling my broker to tell him to buy more G & Lor. (Although I will be very upset if Airtouch offers me one of the early phones after the profile I gave them. Give it to someone who will use it lots so I can afford to get to the Carribean!)
