Bob,

With eSignal, I used to keep tiny charts showing for about 20 symbols. I'd keep L2 open for 3-5 symbols and track about 100. That was way too much for 64kb, but ok for 128kb most of the time.

One of eSignal's best features was the crispness of the charts when reduced to about 1 1/2" on my screen. QC can't do that. Charts have to be larger. QC does permit instant rescaling through mouse dragging, however, and I like that feature. With QC's linked windows, I don't need as many charts open. I can get a chart quickly (when the servers are in good shape). The strategies for using the products are somewhat different for each.

On QC, I have two quote windows with about 150 symbols each, but the same symbols. One is arranged by industry grouping... networkers, software, drugs, banks, etc..; the other is usually sorted descending by %Net, but I flip the sequence often. In addition, I have another quote window with about 40 symbols which are my recent tracking symbols and one more chart with 10-15 symbols which I call "Today". Just stuff from today dragged from hotlists.
