Dan,
I'm not naive. It appears your approach with GUMM is grasp the latest "possibility" of what might happen, and forget the earlier hypothicating that months ago represented the justification for GUMM's price. Something that has become habitual with GUMM
I've read your posts and understand clearly what your position is.....optimistic speculation. I prefer something a bit more analytical.
As it pertains to Zicam, the issue in the comming months will be Gumm's performance. No NEJM article, then no spike in demand for Zicam and no moon rocket with GUMM's stock. As has been posted on the GUMM thread, Zicam is in a bunch of retail outlets, however how are consumers going to be coaxed into buying it (as one needs to be looking for it to be aware of it's existance)? GUMM doesn't have enough money to create the consumer brand awareness required to move it off the shelves.
Secondly what happens when the cold season passes and the inventory that didn't move is still there?
I suggest Dan that being long this stock is the riskiest approach.
Hype is great when a track record doesn't exist, however results eventually take precedence.
