The 62 percent of historians who think, already, that RR was a below-average president seem to place a significant amount of the blame on him, I note.

Uh, couldn't Reagan have easily vetoed those budgets, or at least threatened veto a la Clinton? California spending also increased under his tenure. You Reagan sheep believed his words rather than the facts. Look 'em up.
