ERICSSON: PROBLEMS LURKING UNDER SURFACE, SELL - VA
(Nyhetsbyr†n Direkt) - STOCKHOLM. A mountain of
problems are lurking under the surface at Ericsson and
these problems pose a treath to growth, Veckans Affarer
wrote Monday. It noted that Kurt Hellstrom faces a
challenge in regaining market confidence.
If he fails, the stock could well tumble. The magazine
noted that the current stock price around 260 kronor
assumes that the mobile phone operations start
generating profit.
At the same time, the fixed telephone operations are
losing money and the profit generated by the mobile
systems is not enough to motivate the stock price, said
VA, and recommends sell on the stock. The magazine
notes that Ericsson's price trend is steered by the U.S.
and that the inflated New York stock market implies a
large risk.
