Mad2,

You are rehashing old arguments that you lost on the last time they were discussed. I suggest that you search this thread for your posts and read the responses. That way you can argue with yourself.

<Should GUMM complete another study we are by my calculations 6-8 months away the review and publication in the NEJM.>

They might not even submit the next study to the NEJM. This isn't the only medical journal on the face of the earth for Christ's sake! I have only been talking about that journal because that is where they submitted it. Man, you are really coming across as dense, Mad2.

You are wrong to assume that publication of the first study is the ONLY means by which GumTech can obtain publicity this cold season. This is so ludicrous that I can't even believe you wrote it without embarrassment. The stock will move well ahead of publication of the second study if the results are conclusive. The claims would not be GumTech's per se because the clinical studies are being conducted independently.

To the gentleman that is smiling and laughing. Consumers spent ~$2.5 billion on OTC cold remedies last year that only mask symptoms and don't reduce the duration of the cold. How much will they spend on a product that eliminates the cold in about 2 days? That has me smiling too.
