Re umg. You may be right about 6 months. Have you heard whether T will opt to wait for outcome of the appeal on cable ownership? page I-9 says deal may go out to Sept 30 next year if "requisite consents or waivers have not been obtained."
New subject, have you any source of info on arbitrage situations such as cdd/hwm. WSJ article says that 85% owned stake in Howmet shares are nearly equal to market capitalization of Cordant. These discrepancies in evaluation often reverse over a period of time so I presume buying cdd and selling hwm should be a long term arbitrage play. Also I would appreciate knowing from anyone on this thread if they have found a source of pending mergers. I had forgotten about UMG until you brought it up. Also cpy has been around for a while.
