There is a lot of pessimism and stocks are oversold, but there was pessimism last Monday as well. And stocks were oversold for nearly the entire four month drop in mid-1998.

My initial inclination is that you are correct. But I guess we'll see soon enough.

Like this one, now trading around a buck. That financing was announced two weeks ago at a $1.60. Rumors about some sort of deal in the making:

Hyduke Resources Ltd. (''HYD'') is pleased to announce the closing of a private placement of 812,500 Common Shares @$1.60 with the Bank of Montreal [NYSE:BMO - news] Capital Corporation, effective September 14, 1999, raising gross proceeds of $1,300,000 (Cdn.)

From the total placement of $1,300,000, $900,000 will be used to retire a debt associated with the acquisition of Mimco Enterprises Ltd. and the remaining balance will be used to provide additional working capital to Mimco.

Hyduke Resources Ltd. is an integrated oilfield services company specializing in the manufacture, repair and sales of oilfield equipment and supplies. Francis:

Agree we are due for a decent bounce this week. But the old support as OSX 70-73 probably will now serve as resistance. I doubt we will be able to go above that in the near-term.
