Hi Randy,

The Sygate product is a PC software based solution. My priority was to get the software off the PC and onto a separate hardware device. If you are satisfied with a PC based solution, then great. There is no one right answer to solving this problem.

I am sure we will see even better solutions forthcoming as the DSL/Cable market expands. All of the solutions I have seen so far still require a fair amount of knowledge to set up and configure. I have no doubt that solutions will be available soon that are basically plug and play that allow any user to easily set up. I added Cat5 cabling around the house so that a laptop can be plugged in anywhere. I doubt the average user will do that, so I would guess we will start to see some non-ethernet solutions that are less technical to deploy. It will be interesting to see how this all evolves.

Take care,

DN
