Typhoon you bad person you. <g> Don't bring Buchanan into this. Yuck! I hate to say I hope you are wrong, but......I gotta. I respect your opinion, but I disagree. You should know, 1st off, these analysts are completely self serving. And you know why I think that, its been posted before. If not by me, than others. Secondly, IMHO, the volume between now and the first of the year is going to set records. Big time!! Unprecedented! And the likes of MSDW, aren't going to benefit like the OLBs. The headlines will read "LAST BIG BULL AND BEAR BATTLE OF THE CENTURY!!!" The "4B" of the century! Not Furby, mind you, "4B". <g> I don't disagree that the bubble will end. (In more than just the OLB's of course), but not for quite awhile. The amount of new technology to invest in is staggering. We have only begun to scratch the surface of this internet thing. And, for it to all end with the y2k thing is just what everybody is expecting. No way! What will happen is, the bulls and the bears will dig deeper trenches and the volatility and volume will skyrocket! It really doesn't matter where the major indices end up. The fact of the matter will be, record earnings for the likes of SCH, EGRP, NITE, SWS, etc., etc.. (you know where I got my bets, eh?) All this is JMHO of course, or best guess. Anyways, like I said before ..... maybe we can both make some money here, so you go first. I will collect in the new century. Happy Trading! D.
