Any comment on the EURO-EBAY "QXL.COM" (QXLC:NASDAQ) The new kid on the block with lots of bucks and can learn from e-bay.??I love the EBAY model and I can remember when E-bay was Cdn.$25.00/share and I saw it rise topping in over Cdn.$1000/share, before the split. The stock price got out of hand and was too expensive for my blood. So I picked up a few hundred shares of QXL.COM. Looks like they are sweeping Europe and they have a population of 370 million. 70 million more than the USA. According to reports, there will be more people on the Internet in Europe in 2003 than in the USA. I understand the British can't trade until Thursday, Oct. 14 ??? and it's 8 times over-subscribed, whatever that means. ?? Let's hope there's room for 2 or 3 large customer-to-customer auction. It should catch on because Europe is the home of antiques and auctions. Best of luck for all these types of auctions.
