Geneva, Oct. 10 (Bloomberg) -- France Telecom SA, Europe's second-largest phone company, expects to
reach an agreement with its partners in the Global One international phone alliance within 2 months, said
France Telecom chief executive Michel Bon.

France Telecom has cooperated with Deutsche Telekom AG and the U.S.'s Sprint Corp. for the last four
years. The alliance foundered after the German company made an unsuccessful bid for Telecom Italia SpA
earlier this year. Sprint has also agreed to be acquired by MCI Worldcom Inc.

Bon told reporters that he expects either France Telecom or Deutsche Telekom to assume control of the
venture once a decision on the price has been made.
