They'd better have more convincing clinical results to back their claims than the people at Quigley did. I was at a major pharmaceutical company when the founder of Quigley showed up one day with a big jar of zinc lozenges. Obviously, he was looking for marketing support. He met with a few of the higher ups, left his jar of lozenges for people to try, and went on his merry way. Needless to say, the company never gave him a second thought.
