Interesting brand names announcing recordable DVD

The only announced design wins that I know for DVxplore chip is ATI, JVC, & Samsung. Maybe some of the additional names below will be announced soon.

Q:What design wins does C-Cube have with its DVD decoders?

A:C-Cube has announced that its ZiVA decoders will be used in Samsung, JVC, Aiwa, LG Electronics, Hitachi, Acer, Tatung, and Marantz DVD players. For the PC, C-Cube has announced design wins with Gateway, Dell, Toshiba, Apple, STB and Diamond.

Also interesting to note that Zoran DVD customer Toshiba did not show off DVD wares, maybe a change in technology coming down the pike.

Cube customers having strong sales, in the third qtr.

Tatung Sept Sales Rise 26% on Year to NT$4.0 Billion (Table)

Taipei, Oct. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Tatung Company Ltd., which makes computers and home appliances, said September sales jumped 25.5 percent from a year earlier to NT$4.03 billion ($127million).
Taiwan-listed companies disclose limited financial results
every month in compliance with stock exchange regulations.
