Hello, Catcher, I am a "she". Sorry for the late reply but I wanted to taste the Zin. The "Villa Mt. Eden" Grand Reserve, 1996 from the Monte Rose Vineyard in Sonoma is ready to drink!!! Don't hold it. In the mouth it is smooth and full but I would call it a lighter wine. It has been a long time since I tasted a zin though. It would be nice to hear from Ron because he drinks zin on a regular basis. Still, I thought the Mt. Eden zin was more pleasant than the 1995 Chateau Ste. Michelle Merlot from the Cold Creek Vineyard which I tasted Saturday night. Perhaps that wine needs time to breathe but I thought it was tight. Either it needs more time in the bottle or the bottle that I opened was off. I don't smoke so neither cigars nor cigarettes appeal to me. I didn't make $6,000 on Friday. I could have if I had wanted to do so but I am an investor. I trade only when I feel that I need to do so. Actually, I don't own Q. It is too expensive for me to purchase even though Ron speaks highly of the company. Happy Drinking, Mephisto
