He was responsible for causing the collapse of the Soviet Empire by pushing that system to its point of failure and also for turning back the communist tide around the world. Do you have any empirical evidence to support this claim? Being in the chair when the tide turns doesn't mean that you turned the tide. He did in fact get many of his programs through But when we talk about booming deficits, increased federal spending, and an increased federal payroll, that's all the fault of Congress. If you want to take credit for what goes right, you have to take responsibility for what goes wrong.
