I thought I'd let them expire. I had a suspicion that after Amat broke out over 80 it would retest - that's when I sold them naked (at 3 3/4) as they dropped below 80. At that time preannouncements created a negative bias. I'm now thinking that a bullish environment will ocur with Q3 announcements. JMHO

If we see a negative market reaction to good earnings I may not have a bullish perspective for the future.( May want to sell calls as premium will be there - assuming a short term pop and no breadth of market).
