Okay, I'm glad to stop. May I propose we start on some other subjects bound to create some interesting debate:

1. RESOLVED: The United States to submit itself to the jurisdiction in advance of the International Court of Justice and the (proposed) International Court of Human Justice. (no ex post facto cases permitted)

2. RESOLVED: No signatory of the above treaties shall subject any of its subjects or foreigners to torture, deprive them of habeas corpus, use cruel or obsolete punishments (including the death penalty), or deprive them of due process of law or the equal protection of the laws. Race, color, age, disability, religion, sexual preference, family status, national origin discrimination shall be illegal and local and international courts can enforce bans and penalties against such discrimination.

3. RESOLVED: Any government committing an act of war against its own people or against another nation without the sanction of the Security Council of the UN (or the General Assembly under "Uniting for Peace" in the SC inaction) shall be subject to sanctions or isolation until they submit themselves to the authority of the World Court.

These ought to do to start.
