I've said this before: Paul discredits himself. He needs no help from me. I've always believed we should learn from our mistakes and grow wiser with time. If anything I suppose I pity Paul because it is apparent to me that he hasn't accomplished either condition.

Thanks, someone has noticed a little short covering toward the end of last week.
Next week could be a big deal for CC, if the conversion price was of any concern to the CC genius. Perhaps, outfits like Castle Creek could be getting people like John Merriweather from Long Term Capital or their Nobel prize winning advisers of derivative instruments, or someone of that caliber, to advise them how to proceed from here ie. how to improve their returns. May be, CC will join them in hedging against Russia's economic failure, next? Fundamentally, if VLNC is such a pathetic failure of a business, why CC was negotiating with VLNC? What was the point of negotiation for "three pounds of flesh" if there was to be no flesh at all to to begin with. Common sense? Or, lack thereof? The market only will tell us, soon! Ram
