Hi Doug, you noted: "After they (the vendor) packed their bags and left the first thing my friend said to me was "I could never let someone else store my data for me, what if?????...... " Does your friend use one of the 6,500 or so ISPs in existence today to access the www and send/receive emails? Do they use the telephone company to make phone calls without using encryption? You're friend's concerns are not uncommon. It's actually rather peculiar, IMO, how we tend to place great amounts of trust in certain custodians' care, while distrusting others.
