I know nothing about him but it seems his name spurs some passionate response when mentioned... "fawning sycophants" is a nice expression for what I occasionally see at SI, but they come in a way distant second to the stock cultists, whom I call the "true believers" or the "devoted and the faithful...." They're generally a more pathetic bunch than the guru lapdogs... and can get nasty in a nanosecond. ~Smart$
