Thanks. I knew the 4004 came out in '71, so I was curious what you were doing 3 years before that.

At that time I was designing a 4-bit micro on a single chip called the PPS-4. It was better, in my opinion, than the 4004 but it was several months behind it.

This sounds remarkably similar to your opinion on DDR and RDRAM. I wonder if the same results will happen especially given that it's at least the same player involved with RDRAM as it was with the 4004.
