Sure - but Nokia is far more transparent and accountable than most US companies. Nokia is one of the few firms that actually publishes detailed mobile phone sales information every quarter. They don't hide these numbers like Motorola, Qualcomm, Samsung, Siemens and other companies do. What you see is what you get - investors can see every quarterly move in handset profit margins and sales. That kind of perfect transparency is valuable in the long run. But in the short run it can create volatility.
