I believe that Faith in God is an I do not believe the Elect have the power to utterly reject it. ( they try sometimes. Wrestle with an angel all night and see how you feel ) Also I do not believe that those who are not born again by the POWER of the Holy SPIRIT can get that gift no matter how hard they may try. See Esau in Hebrew 12:17 .."for he found no place of repentance though he sought it carefully with tears." God gives his elect a NEW HEART and a NEW SPIRIT long before they can even have the "EARS to HEAR". Who accept Jesus Christ Is it the new "Spiritual man" or is it the "Old Carnal and DEAD man ??? In the flesh dwells NO GOOD THING. You can do nothing of yourselves.
