Nope, I'm still up. Had to work today, and didn't start until late afternoon.

FWIW, I agree with your comments re: the net becoming passe, evolving into a tool. Granted, it's got a lot of "cool" legs left, but gradually, the hype dies down. As you pointed out re: disco, things change. That doesn't mean that dance music is dead, but it's just not the popular rage.

I have to admit though, I'm constantly amazed at how many people are getting connected to the internet for *the first time*. I've used PCs since 1987-88, but didn't get 'net access until...must have been I think late '95. I know I found SI a few months later, and I registered here in April '96.

I thought I was a late 'net bloomer, but here it is 5 yrs later, and some ppl are still only now getting 'net. It's like, where have these ppl been, under a rock? :=)
