Mike, a lot of volume with no movement in price might indicate that "the end game" is close. The bandits' short position, however, is rarely closed by going into the market, more often or not, they deliver shares obtained from conversion to close their short. To find out the true situation, you should call the transfer agent and monitor the growth of the shares outstanding. If they are growing suddenly, it means that actual conversion is occurring, but if the number of shares outstanding stays well below what it should be under the weight of full conversion, the death spiral might still be in full force.
