Peter:

We can't warrant your use of the program or data feed with TradeStation or other programs that don't hook up to our QFeed service directly. Many of the error corrections that we perform on the intra-day data won't propagate to programs that use intermediate programs to pump data into them because the corrections come after the fact - within a minute or two. In fact, it is quite possible that the data corrections our servers have made in the historical data aren't being filtered out in their path to your software - it's easy not to pass along the "filter" flag on time & sales records, and TradeStation probably wouldn't know how to deal with them anyway. (We don't erase the incorrect history - rather we mark the bad records as suspect - filtered - or cancelled by the exchange.)

Also you state that our format for the E-Mini is not "industry standard" because our Daily summary bars contain the overnight trading session in the range. Please bear in mind that this is an artifact of our feed provider's "standard" practice. They happen to be S&P Comstock - a division of the same company that defines the components of the E-Mini contract.

QCharts is, however, flexible enough to give you a quick-click option to display or not to display the overnight sessions on the intra-day data for the E-Mini contract. The fact that you aren't getting this benefit once you load the data into TradeStation is not the fault of QCharts or the QFeed service.

I've been reading your posts, Peter, with curiosity - if you are interested in improving the situation, a better route might be to send your issues to data@quote.com directly instead of posting charges of unreliability and inaccuracy in this public forum. We do listen to our users and are concerned about the quality and reliability of the service. If you can work with us to identify problems we would like to get them corrected.
