Lost,

Do you have your Monarch tagging kit???

I read the website. It is much to late in the season for the area in which I live. But boy would the kids have loved to have done such a thing. My boys love to catch bugs. I think ever empty peanut butter jar must be washed and saved for these catching adventures. I will share this website with the kids...they will think it is sooooo cool.

I could see tagging as a great Girl Scout or Boy Scout activity.

I wonder, if it is just that I am not out doors as much as when I was a kid, (although we do go hiking and camping) but I do not think there are as many butterflies in this area as I remember as a kid.

Maybe next year I will plant seeds that are specifically marked for a "butterfly garden".

Neenny

We just planted Jackson's tree. We still had his belly button stem and planted it with the tree. Again, I want to thank all of my Piffer OT friends. That was a very special gift.

Interestingly, Lisa and I have planted a tree at a number of key events in our life. I even wrote a poem for our wedding that I read when we planted our "wedding tree". (and the answer is "no", it is private:-)
