I used to work with a guy who continually ran off at the mouth about the most trivial things, and would always whip up a fantastic self-aggrandising story to one-up anybody else's personal experiences. He's quite famous among a bunch of us, we have only to hear the name or one of his favourite expressions to smile. Just as he was coming to his glorified punch lines, he would say 'As God is my Witness' .... and i remember thinking every time - 'Betcha God has better things to do'. "''God," he says, ''is my public relations man.''"
