Of course, it could also be argued that the U.S. has been collecting the castoffs and riffraff of the world at least since Lief Erikson, inbreeding them until we come up with the perfect killing machine with access to cheap guns. When we ran out of Indians to massacre we turned to lynching blacks and homosexuals and Asian immigrants. Now we mostly shoot our acquaintances in bars or kill our spouses and children, taking time off to murder children in Serbia and other places we are POed at. What a rotten culture!
