Yes I do believe that God has chosen me from the foundation of the world and has SET his love upon me in Christ Jesus and His Finished Work of redemption.

"Jacob have I loved but Esau have I hated." Romans 9

Psalm 5:5 " The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity."

The Bible plainly teaches for those who have ears to hear that God does not just hate the works of sin but the workers of sin Those who do it. He will not be putting sin in hell but SINNERS.
Those whom he passes over. God judged Egypt and saved Israel. Why ??

Moses was not LOOKING for GOD.... When God wanted to send him he said NO !! I don't want to go just like Jonas. Moses wanted God to send another. Were the Jews happy about Moses trying to get Pharoah to let them go.. NOT.. Moses was making life awful for everyone. The curses were not just felt by the Egyptians but the Jews as well when Pharoah would just treat them worse and worse the more Moses pronounced the plagues of GOD !They could soon see that when Moses said curses were coming he was telling the truth so they obeyed out Moses out of fear and a need to survive rather than a love or acceptance of GOD.They were spared the curses because of the BLOOD !! Even after they had left Egypt and seen all that God had done they still wanted to go back. :-}

Duet 7:6 "For thou art an Holy People unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are on earth."

AGAIN : 1 Peter 2:9 "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should bring forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:"

Yes I believe God loves me but not because of anything good and any action, choice, or work I have done but by his pure Grace and Mercy. Upon the vessels that he has chosen to be vessels of mercy. Romans 9
