Thats interesting. Wonder if there are any WW2 buffs who would know the percentages of different faiths of the men and women who served. People were very patriotic back then.

I'd have to see some statistics to convince me of that. I doubt there was any significant difference between religious group's participation. The only factor I can think of that would make Catholics a larger percentage in the military than they were in the population would have been discrimination against blacks, most of whom are Protestant.
