No I ask not because we simply believe whatever our parents did but because their is such a thing as Spiritual Inheritance. Here is the way it is written in the Greek Septuagint before Christ.. 2 chronicles 22:2 " Ochozias began to reign when he was twenty years old, and reigned for one year in Jerusalem: and his mothers name was Gotholia, the daughter of Ambri. So now you have yet another age 20 years ( plus 22 plus 42 ) but I have also given you a different name. He is called Ochozias in that account. So now when you show people that the bibles have a contradiction in them you will have more ammo. However I am not one to maintian that the Bible is without Change. I believe that it is the Work of the Holy Spirit. It has however suffer changes by men throughout its very long history. The originals are not with us. They were without error. Try the English version when they say Easter. Easter is a Roman Catholic invention to please those who served the goddess Esther. The original said Passover. But the English people knew nothing of Jewish holy days so the translators used the word Easter instead. Why ?? They felt it did no harm at all to the "meaning" and it helped the people understand what time of year it was etc. If you check out the dead sea scrolls they have shown differences from our modern day text BUT NONE that change the meaning of the Text. These books are Jewish records of Geneology and record the History of the Kings. Why a different name appears in the Septuagint and a different age I do not know. It may be a verse that was almost lost or was lost and had to be made back up through other historical accounts that did not match up. So you can continue to be a scourner... but that won't get you into heaven... but you can't have everything. Actually if you don't get right with the Only Begotten Son of God there will come a day when you can't have anything good. If you sin against the cure what will save you ???
